These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of The Grub Log ("the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. The app is operated by Hugo Pires. Questions? Email hugo@thegrublog.com.
The Grub Log lets you log meals by description, photo, or voice and track calories and macros against daily goals. We provide the app on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may change or discontinue features at any time.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old to use the app.

Calorie and macro values produced by the app, including AI-generated estimates from photos and descriptions, are approximations and may be inaccurate. They are provided for general informational purposes only and are not medical or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your diet or health.
You retain ownership of the meals, photos, and data you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the app's features (such as generating nutritional estimates and syncing your data). You are responsible for the content you upload.
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.
We aim to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or disruption beyond our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or from reliance on any nutritional estimates it provides. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time, which deletes your data within 30 days from our active systems. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under your local law.
